The Tweedsmuir, originally built in the 1960's was ready for a complete facelift! The exterior remains quaint and charming after receiving new siding, windows, and front porch. A layout change with the orientation of the front door allowed for a more open floor plan when you walk into the home. What once was a covered boot room in the entrance is transformed into the home’s great room with a custom masonry fireplace. This leads into the heart of this family’s space; their open concept kitchen. Country hickory flooring and matching cupboards were used with light countertops to brighten the main living and kitchen and provide continuity into the bathroom, home office, and bedroom. This renovation kept the traditional integrity of the original style and re-energized it into a bright and modernized home!
